Common questions

My route has gaps or straight lines

GPS needs a clear view of the sky. Make sure location access is allowed for the app and that Low Power Mode is off while recording. Tall buildings and tunnels can still cause short gaps.

Does the app track me when I am not recording?

No. Location is used only while a recording is in progress. You can stop at any time.

Do I need an account?

No. All routes are stored on your phone. An account is only needed to choose a username and to back up your routes to the cloud.

I changed phone. How do I get my routes back?

If you had cloud backup turned on, sign in with the same account on the new phone and your routes are restored. Without backup, routes stay on the old device only.

How is the explored percentage calculated?

The app divides the roads you travel into small segments and counts each one only once, then compares the total with the estimated length of all roads.
